Easy Peasy

Today in la we hardly had any work at all. We just had to do a BCR on the story we read in class which was fairly easy. Then the teacher told us that she was doing a mock evaluation on our behavior and that next quarter it would count as a grade.

Even though it was a mock evalubation everyone except a few people were quieter than normal. It was abnormal. Since I finished my work early the teacher told everyone the teacher told the class the homework so that they could start on it early.

Laded Up To My Eyes In Homework

Today in la we did readers workshop for about 10 minutes. Then she told us that there was no talking at all and that we had to do all of the wofk that was on the board. Which by the way was kind of boring because the people that aren't doing anything wrong aren't aloud to talk.

Today there was a pretty small amount of work to do in class. But we are completely LOADED DOWN with homework and I am probably going to be up until 1:00 A.M. tonight doing it. So I really ticked because some of it could have been prevented if the class would just.............. SHUT UP !!!!!!!!!!!

Words, Words, Too Many Words

In L. A. when we walked in the class was way to noisy. But after a few minutes they quited down. I and the other librarian passed out the readers notebooks and books. Then after about ten minutes we recorded what we read.

Afterwards, the teacher put up a whole bunch of words on the screen. I think that it may have been anywhere from fifty to seventy words on the screen. She told us that we had to define the first twenty of them. That's a whole lot of words.

The Test of Bordism

In language arts today we had a test on the story that we read since we didn't finish the day we had the assembly. The test was fairly challenging. It had a few multiple choice questions and there were two BCR's.

Then after the test we had to turn it in and wait for the other people in the room.I finished long before it was time to leave. Naturally I became really bored. It took until the end of the class period for everyone else to finish.

The Day of Nothingness

Today when we arrived from the Newseum back at school, we went straight to L.A. When we got to the classroom the teacher was not in the room so the class just talked. As soon as the teacher walked into the room the class automatically quieted down.

Since we were on the feild trip all that day, we didn't have to do any work. Also, there wasn't a whole lot of time left in the day. The teacher let us talk for the rest of the day. It was kind of fun really.

Assembly Time!

Today we didn't really do anything at all in La. We had an assembly for the field trip. Before we were called down to the auditorium, we started on a test. It was on the story that we were reading in class. There really wasn't enough time to do anything.

I barely even got to write my name when they called us down to the multi-purpose room. By the time we got back class, it was over. It was basically time for dissmissal. So I tried to get atleast a little bit done. But it turns out that there was only time for one sentence.

Ten Pages

Today in class we didn't do readers workshop. Instead we presented our 10 page picture book that we had for homework over the weekend. We were required to draw ten pages that retell the story we read. While others were presenting the rest of the class was doing work.We

We were working because the teacher thought that we would not be able to be quiet. So she gave out a couple of worksheets. We didn't get to everyones before the end of the day so we just turned them in.

Reading...reading...reading

Today in class we didn't do a whole lot. After the other librarian and I passed out the readers notebooks we practically all day. The teacher had to give out our Language of Literature (LOL) books.

It took the whole class period to give out all of the books. I think that I may have gotten two or three chapters read. In the pages of the book that I am reading that is about 34 pages.

The Never Ending Story

Today in language arts we got to read our readers workshop books. After we read for about ten or twelve minutes we took down notes about what we read. The teacher asked me about the series that I was reading. The story and series was so long that it took me about three minutes to tell her about the book.

Afterwards we had to listen to a really long story, it was about a half an hour long. I thought it would never end. But I think that overall it was a pretty good story. I think the story was about ten to twelve pages long too.

The Same Old Game

Today in L.A. we still had the same substitute. Today we came in and did pretty much the same thing. Except, today we had a little more work and it was partly in our Readers Notebook. The work was still the same level of complexity though. We are studying subject and verbs.

Today we started working more specifically on helping verbs. When the sub handed out all of the classwork sheets, he also handed out the homework. After I finished doing my classwork, I started on my homework.I luckily finishe right before dissmissal.

Alot of Writing

Yesterday in L.A., we did a bunch of worksheets. It was not a lot of work but the work required alot of writing. Although I am a librarian, yesterday we did not do readers workshop. Instead, we came in and just started on our work.

It felt pretty awkward acually. I am so used to walking into the classroom and passing out the books. Ms Miller was not there either. Instead we had a sub. He passed out all of the work at once and let us get started.
